Do Good Luck Symbols, Charms, & Talismans Really Work?

Symbols and symbolism are popular in almost every civilisation, culture and religion that has evolved on Earth. They are deeply ingrained in the way of our life itself. Symbols impact our subconscious mind and if their influences are strong enough, then they could stimulate confidence, effort and good outcomes. Whether we realize or not paintings, pictures, jewellery, statues, birds, animals and so forth have meanings and effect on us.

Mankind, after closely watching nature, events and environmental life over a period of centuries, has developed a vast and time tested database of Positive Symbols. When the geometric shape, size, meaning and their other nuances are properly understood and activated, it results in transmission/amplification of "energy" - the vital life force that governs everything in the Universe.

Some classical examples are Crystals, Pyramids, Vedic Yantras, Sacred Geometry, Maha Meru, Pancha Boodha Stupa, Vajra, Viswa Vajra, Rahu (Dorje Phurba), Fengshui Objects, et cetra.

Usage of positive symbols can alter energy flow and enhance the surrounding space. It is the easiest way to introduce positivism in our environment. They are normally categorised into 2 types : to remedy/cure a problem, to heal a situation; to act as a booster or enhancer to bring about harmony and prosperity. There are symbols (like Crystals) that when placed (after processing), can dissolve negative energy and also stream out purpose-solving, high positive energy. These symbols, when processed and positioned correctly, will definitely yield results.

By creating an environment rich with positive symbolism that elicit positive thinking, focused minds, confidence and innovativeness, progress and prosperity will result. We will then become aware of the life force in the environment in which the energy had been altered by us, thus enabling us to empower it. This powerful symbolism will reinforce our energy levels to benefit in every aspect of our lives.

For example, a Black Tourmalene Crystal Pendant can balance the emotions and calm the mind; a pair of Pink Mandarin Duck statuettes can bond a couple more strongly; a Viswa Vajra can protect one from negative entities; a Five Element Stupa can balance the five elements of nature and correct the vaastu/fengshui energy of land and building; a set of Sailing Ship Coins can instigate cash flow in Business; a Pyramid can accumulate Positive Energy; a Shri Yantra can remove financial blocks, a custom built Crystal Energy Field can bring in Health, Wealth, Harmony & Happiness, et cetra.

But how can merely the statue of a Phoenix bird bring motivation and new opportunities?

The shape and design of the gadget determines the nature of the energy that the remedy can receive and transmit. (2) The raw material and size decide the storage capacity and life of the remedy, when energised. (3) Programming of the remedy defines the problem to be solved or the purpose to be realised and the Programming only fully dedicates the energy of the remedy to the purpose and binds it to the person.

It is thus important to realise that the remedy by itself is only the hardware part (like a computer). You have to supply the electricity (energising) to switch it on and keep it running. But ultimately you have to supply the proper software (programming) to make it work. Appropriate placement then completes the circle.

There are some who would argue that the "shape" of the talisman or remedy itself does signify a specific energy and hence does not require any other processing. Sure it does : that's why it has been selected as an energy tool. For example, the shape of a majestic Elephant does signify the energies related to strength, shrewdness and long memory - but that alone is not suffiecient. The image or statue should definitely be energised in ways where it stores enough to last for a few years, not weeks. Then the stored energy should be programmed as to whom and for what purpose it should work. The programming also helps the remedy from being corrupted from the onslaught of negative energies that it surely has to face (on behalf of it's owner), once activated. This way, if and when the vital positive energy of the remedy is critically overwhelmed by negativity at one stage, the remedy simply breaks and declares it's inability to serve (it's owner) further, rather than damage it's owner.

Will a Laughing Buddha or a Crystal or a Yantra bought off the shelf give results?

The simple answer is a firm "no", if it has not been programmed and energised. Merely energising will not help. The energy needs to be stabilised, sealed and then directed through "specialised" programming.

In fact, the source of the energy remedies play an important role in determining the effectiveness. Many who buy the same Fengshui product from two different sources will find that one is working so well and the other may not. But they never bother to ask why that happens. The answer is subtle, the source determines the "root energy" stored in the products.

(1) It is a key element (the root energy) that the qualified expert (who is going the sell/channel the remedies) checks before selecting. Then the products are (2) cleansed (of negativities that arise during manufacturing/changing hands), (3) instilled with auspicious and positive energy and (4) kept in proper storage area that has a strong positive energy belt before being sold. Finally, when sold, (5) the expert programs the remedy to the purpose and the user and explains the (6) ideal placement of the energy tool in his/her place.

Then and only then will these remedial tools yield results.

In modern living, where the environment at macro level is highly influenced by many factors beyond our control, micro level energy correction done with empowered remedies can effectively bring in and retain Health, Wealth, Harmony and Happiness.

Millefiori Pendant Jewelry

Murano glass jewelry is made from original Murano glass. Murano glass comes from the Murano, the glasswork capital of the world in the 13th Century. Glass working technologies such as crystalline glass, milleflori, enameled glass, multi-colored glass, smoke glass, and milk gas all came from Murano.

The most popular jewelry made from Morano Ventian glass beads are Millefiori pendants. Millefiori, which stands for a thousand flowers, gets its name from several floral designs and geometric shapes, which build up its mosaic design. The mosaic appearance of Millefiori pendants is due to the designs of the glass rods themselves.

The glass rods are made of multiple layers of colored glass fused together making up a uniform design along the cross section of the rod. These designed rods are heated so they become soft enough to stretch, all the while maintaining its cross section design. Stretching the rods makes them easier to cut into the many small tubes, which are responsible for the intricate design of the millefiore. These tubes are then carefully laid out, piece by piece, in a metal ring, which may vary in both size and shape depending on the desired result.

Common shapes of millefiore pendants are sometimes hearts, stars, but more commonly just circles. Once all the tubes or disks are laid out nicely, the pieces are heated in a furnace to fuse. What comes from this is the completed centerpiece of the pendant. The pendant is completed by framing the gem in sterling silver or gold and then strung with a chain.

Pendant lighting for your home

The use of pendant lighting in the modern kitchen has gained widespread popularity over the past few years. This is largely due to the fact that pendant lighting offers a great deal of style to spaces which incorporate modern design elements.

In homes decorated in the Traditional style, it is common to see a chandelier or other ornate hanging fixture gracing the formal dining room. Many homes of today, however, sport eating areas in informal nooks attached to the family room or in-kitchen bar seating. In these places, the formal style of the chandelier would seem strangely out of place, but stylish and functional task lighting is still needed. It is to meet this lighting need that pendant lighting has become a favorite option in pre-existing home remodels and new constructions.

As was touched upon previously, pendant lighting falls into a category of lighting called task lighting. Task lighting delivers essential illumination for specific tasks like reading or cooking. This type of lighting is localized, shadow free, and easy on the eyes. In the kitchen, many different types of task lighting are required for different tasks performed throughout the room. Pendant lighting is most often used in eating areas of the kitchen and dining room.

There are many styles of pendant lighting, but all are identified by a single, long cable hanging from the ceiling with a small globe attached to the end. The glob itself is small in size and can either be inverted or traditionally hung depending on what effect you want to create. A pendant light can be a solo affair, or it can be hung side by side in a whole strip of pendant lights to illuminate spaces such as bar countertops or long dining tables.

Far from being reserved for Contemporary decors only, pendant lighting can be incorporated into any one of today's popular decorating styles including Mission, Traditional and Eclectic. You can choose from pendant lighting fixtures sporting geometrical patterns to ornate, floral affairs complete with exquisite detail.

And pendant lighting is extremely affordable. A good quality pendant lighting fixture averages around $100 for each globe. That means that if you were to choose a fixture with three globes, you can expect to spend around $300. When compared with other quality decorative lighting fixtures such as chandeliers, pendant lighting fixtures might be your most economical option in addition to being a very stylish one.

There are also many other reasons why pendant lighting may be your best bet over more traditional lighting options. Take for instance rectangle and oval dining tables. A centered chandelier would likely look out of balance with a long dining table, and it would not be very efficient at lighting the ends of the table either. A fixture consisting of three or more pendants, on the other hand, would add balance to your d?cor and ensure that the whole table was sufficiently lighted.

So, if you are looking for a stylish solution to your kitchen lighting issues, perhaps you should browse the large variety of pendant lighting available. You may just find exactly what you're looking for.

The majority of our society is overloaded with stress from negative energy occurring in our environment. How many times do you recall feeling unable to cope with the stresses and strains of the day experienced at work or at play? For many this number is significantly high.

Your body is being invaded - electronically - by frequencies that do grievous harm to your body's balance and harmony. Fortunately, there is a solution: the srt-3 pendant, specially designed to fight negative frequencies from such emf sources as angry clients, crabby supervisors, PCs, and mobile phones.

For those fighting feelings of fatigue we have a product called q-link. One way to carry q-link is by wearing the q-link pendant, which produces an inaudible resonance that helps the body become more able to fight stress and fatigue while keeping the body balanced.

Most people today have daily usage of cell phones and computers and other negative frequencies. Thus many people are fatigued from those negative frequencies. Another issue is that many people are working more hours a day and their jobs encompass higher levels of stress. This causes many people to benefit from a q link product.

In deciding whether or not to purchase the q-link pendant, it is important to remember that it is recommended by physicians. These highly trained medical professionals have obviously seen substantial improvement and acknowledge the remarkable benefits of using the q-link pendant. Significant results have been proven in the studies done on the q-link.

The new technology uses a unique concept to combat the negative effects that we cannot see or hear by ourselves. Many people are already using these products, and most of them report than they now feel less stress and fatigue. These products can also improve mental awareness and reduce the negative impact of jet lag.

Mental awareness affects everyone, from the young to the elderly. Alert children in school retain more information. People, as they grow older, notice they need to work on their mental awareness to keep it from diminishing.

Pendant Lighting - Fun & Versatile!

Pendant lighting is not seen as a genuine lighting alternative for many of us because we have been brainwashed into thinking there are the three basics: the lamp, the flush-mounted ceiling fixture, and when you want to get fancy—the chandelier. Most of us even think of wall sconces before the word pendant will ever come to mind.

The pendant is actually one of the most versatile of the light fixtures and can be used to provide the three main types of lighting: ambient, task, and even accent lighting. Unlike table, desk, or even floor lamps, the pendant light fixture is not limited in placement options. A table or desk lamp always needs some sort of furniture or desk to place them upon. Unless you want to place furniture in the middle of your room in order to set the lamp upon, table and desk lamps are not good sources of ambient lighting. Although great for task lighting such as reading, lamps—including floor models—are limited by their placement restrictions and in the types of lighting they are able to provide (great task lighting, poor ambient, no accent).

Because pendants are mounted to the ceiling, they can be placed anywhere in the room so long as you run power to them during installation. In most cases, your home already has wiring in place for ceiling fixtures. Without wiring restrictions, you can let your imagination run wild when choosing pendant fixtures for each room.

In the kitchen, an elegant pendant with ornate glass shades will create plenty of ambient lighting while adding some flare and subtle elegance to the room. If you have a center island or breakfast nook, try placing a 3-bulb pendant overhead. This will provide these work/eating areas with additional task lighting and can be coordinated with the primary pendant fixture for a more compelling decorative effect. Even the sink area would benefit from a small overhead pendant to provide additional task lighting for dishes while also serving as accent lighting when the other lights are turned off.

The living room is another area when pendant lighting should be considered as a serious option as the primary source of ambient lighting. While a chandelier may be overbearing in the space, the right pendant will brighten the room and give the décor the added class and sophistication it had been lacking when a simple ceiling fixture was in place. Pendants come in such a wide variety of shapes and sizes, there is literally no limit to the number of options they bring to your lighting blueprint.

Pendant lighting fixtures work especially well as sources of illumination for hallways and stairways. A simple ceiling fixture at the top of the stairs can be too far away to provide enough illumination for everyone in your family to navigate safely. However, a hanging pendant can bring the source of illumination closer to the stairs and thus eliminate dark spots created by flush-mounted ceiling fixtures. Foyers and entranceways are other great places for pendants and they should be used to set the tone of your décor as people first enter your home.
